Situated on the edge of one of Kenya’s most private wildlife and environmental conservation projects, the wildlife-rich Lewa provides guests a home-away-from-home experience that’s hard to find these days.
When you arrive at the lodge, you’ll immediately feel like you’re with family. Just nine exclusive rooms dot the Lewa Wilderness landscape. Six cottages are tucked into the hillside overlooking the sprawling Eastern Marania Valley, plus a further three garden cottages that are cozy yet expansive are set amongst the beautiful lawn.
At Lewa Wilderness we go beyond the game drive, with exceptional wildlife and wilderness viewing opportunities, to guided walks and to unforgettable horse riding safaris for all ages and levels and even camel riding.

DAY 1; Nairobi- Lewa wilderness
Pick up from hotel of stay or Masai market on Taifa road near supreme court Nairobi at 7 am and drive to Lewa Wildlife camp. Arrive in time for lunch and check in at the camp and rest. Enjoy an Afternoon game drive as from 4 pm – 6 pm through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five plus other animals. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 2: Full game drive and other fun paid activities
Have Breakfast by 7 am and leave for full day game drive with packed lunch: Comprehensive game drive to view the wildlife . Have lunch with a beautiful view and proceed with the game drive until 4pm.
Return to Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Lewa wilderness- Nairobi
Breakfast, check out at the camp and prepare for the safari back to Nairobi. (You can opt to visit the local IL Ngwesi cultural boma enjoy their music and dance and visit the huts to learn about their way of life extra $40.
Arrive in Nairobi at around 4 pm, drop off at area of pick up.
